Committees

Holy Covenant’s leadership structure involves a variety of groups and committees that oversee the programs and operations of the church and implement our mission. Our official election of leaders occurs in the summer at a special church conference. However, there are ways to plug in at any time of year. Email Holy Covenant if you’re interesting in the deeper involvement that comes through serving.

Board of Trustees

Manages and cares for the church property including building, grounds, and equipment. Contact Ginny Dickman-Lopez at trustees@holycovenantumc.org.

Church & Society

The Church and Society Committee at HCUMC seeks to create openings for all people to be educated about unjust systems, while partnering in actions that begin/continue the hard work of changing those systems and Changing the World. Contact Katie Wickman at churchandsociety@holycovenantumc.org.

Communications

Leads all communications, publicity, and invitation ministries. Contact the Communications Chair at communications@holycovenantumc.org or submit requests using this form.

Finance

Manages the congregation’s financial system, including raising, organizing, and dispersing funds for ministry. Contact Chris Shickles at finance@holycovenantumc.org.

Lay Leaders

Gather and interpret the hopes and challenges of the congregation, help connect the various ministries of the congregation, and empower new leaders. Contact Allison Chaplain or Andrew Schumacher at layleaders@holycovenantumc.org.

Missions/Outreach

Directs service and justice beyond and within the congregation. Contact Mathew Schramm at missions@holycovenantumc.org.

Spiritual Formation

Leads the congregation’s life-long journey of discipleship: experiencing, knowing, and growing in God. Contact the Spiritual Formation Chair at spiritualformation@holycovenantumc.org.

Staff-Parish Relations

Supports, empowers and evaluates the lay and clergy staff of the congregation. Contact the SPRC Chair at staffparishrelations@holycovenantumc.org.

Strategy
