Pride Celebration Sunday June 28
Holy Covenant is proud to be a reconciling congregation and welcomes people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and people of every human category. As a sign of our witness to God’s all embracing love, we invite you to march with us in the 40th Annual Chicago Gay Pride Parade on Sunday, June 28 after the 11:15 am service. We will provide hospitality and walk together to Holy Covenant’s float near Diversey and Halsted.
This year, we will be wearing T-shirts from the United Methodist Church’s “Rethink Church” campaign. T-shirts cost $15 each. Sign-up and indicate your T-shirt size in church or by emailing lay leader David Braden. To secure your T-shirt, you can write a check to “Holy Covenant UMC” with “Pride Parade” in the memo line and then return it to David or place it in the offering plate. Celebrate your Pride!
