Sunday, February 12 – 11:15am and 7:00pm
Here Comes The Sun. The Beatles arrive in New York. All You Need Is Love. John and Yoko’s Bed In for Peace. Let It Be. Music and moments etched in our history. Join us on Sunday Feb. 12th at 11:15 am and 7:00 pm as we worship and praise through music that changed the world, helped heal and nurture during the tumultuous 60′s, and continues to speak to younger generations in the uncertain teens of the new millennium. This is an excellent weekend to bring friends to experience God’s presence in this place. Please note that there will be no 9:30 service this weekend.
(Lent Worship Series)
Tattoos. Guitar lessons. Black eyes. Overage fees. Skywriting. Love makes us do strange things in order to proclaim it. This Lent, we will be diving into the depths of this strange thing called “love.” Over the five weeks leading to the ultimate act of crazy love — death (and even-crazier resurrection) — we will hear stories of attempted child sacrifice, burdened families, squandered wealth, wasted resources and public shame all done in the name of love. What is it about love that takes us to these ends?
Family of God – an all-ages, interactive time which will allow us to go deeper into the themes of worship and the church seasons in multi-sensory ways. Family of God will use creative outlets such as art, movement and music, and do it in ways so participants learn from each other.
