Holy Covenant Kids

At Holy Covenant, we feel a special responsibility to share the love and hospitality of Jesus with the youngest members of our community. Every participant, parent or not, shares the burden of nurturing the next generation.

Programs for children and families include:

• Sunday school, each week during 9:30 worship
• Time for Young Christians, during every worship service
• Vacation Bible School or other family events in the summer
• Children’s Christmas pageant
• Small groups and other educational and support opportunities for parents

HAITI CHILDREN’S FUND
Thank you Holy Covenant for your generous support of children in Haiti! Over the past three weeks we have collected nearly $60 in response to the devastating earthquake. During a disaster such as this, children are more vulnerable to disease, malnutrition, abandonment and neglect, but with your help, Grace Children’s Hospital and Pediatric Clinic in Haiti is working hard in defense of children. According to UMC.ORG, Dr. Rudolph McGloire, administrator of Grace, said the presence of The United Methodist Church “means everything… You are here; you are present. Many doctors and nurses are leaving the country and you are coming here,” he said. The funds we collected will be donated to Grace Children’s Hospital and Pediatric Clinic through the United Methodists Advance (#418520). Further donations may be sent to this fund. You are encouraged to continue seeking ways to show compassion for our brothers and sisters in Haiti.
